The input_number.increment action already is modified to support defining an 'amount'.

I suggest to introduce a boolean setting "cycle" which influences the actions behavior as follows:

if old_value + amount > max:
    # cycle determines overflow behavior
    if cycle:
        new_value = min
        # maybe alternatively it could be: old_value + amount - max + min
    else:
        new_value = max
else:
    # in this caswe cycle does not influence the behavior
    new_value = old_value + amount

currently I am implementing this behavior with templates - it could be quite convenient to have it integrated.
