free-ran-ue is a next-generation open-source 5G RAN and UE simulator designed for integration with free5GC. It aims to provide a lightweight, controllable, and extensible platform for validating 5G core network functionality and RAN–core interactions. It also provides a practical platform for testing the NR-DC(New Radio Dual Connectivity) feature.
