I often get busy and don't close tabs as much as I should and I keep the tabs I'm currently using on the left, leaving tabs to pile up on the right. I currently have 18 in the overflow and would need to click on each one, wait for it to load, and then close it. An option to close all tabs to the right would speed this up greatly.
