This is actually more a general python task as there is not much porespy-specific functionality required here. The only tricky thing I see will be finding the correct threshold automatically. There are tools for adjusting histograms and denoising that will help, but ultimately I find that getting the threshold right requires a human in the loop. Sorry. |

Hello PoreSpy Team,
I am researching brick porosity and moving my workflow from ImageJ to PoreSpy. I need to automate the analysis of a large set of TIF files to differentiate between two specific pore classes:
Large Pores: > 2 mm diameter.
Medium Pores: 0.15 mm to 2 mm diameter.
In ImageJ, I currently use a manual threshold (60, though it varies).
How can I best use PoreSpy to batch process multiple images at once?
Adaptive Thresholding: Handle varying contrast/thresholds across different brick samples
Metric Export: Output the area fraction for both categories into a single CSV/Excel file?
Any guidance or example snippets for this workflow would be greatly appreciated!
