Bug description

Even if set to custom-join-message: "none" and custom-quit-message: "none", messages are always displayed in English, ignoring the client language.

Steps to reproduce

Set custom-join-message: "none" and custom-quit-message: "none".

Expected behaviour

Join and quit messages should be properly translated according to the client's language.

Actual behaviour

Join and quit messages are always displayed in English.
