Bug description

If I put &l in my nick, it changes the msg message

Steps to reproduce

Change your name to bold /nick &lnick
write someone a msg, ask them how they got the message

Expected behaviour

the msg message will be as it should be and will not be affected by changing the name via the nick command

Actual behaviour

msg message is affected by changing the name via the nick command
