Oh man, I have no idea how I missed that. Jedi didn't need to be installed. Will fix that asap.

@DonJayamanne Oh sorry. I was sure jedi is required by your plugin.

It's what I understood from the thread that prompted this change: https://github.com/DonJayamanne/pythonVSCode/issues/138

It might be a good idea to comment there that your plugin doesn't use jedi; for future people encountering this issue.
