last year was a lot. a few things in life got pretty messy, and for a while i dealt with it the way i usually do. i stayed busy. i worked, i learned new things, i kept building stuff. it helped in some ways, but it also meant i never really stopped long enough to check in with how i was actually doing.

towards the end of the year i finally paused for a second and admitted something i probably already knew. i had mostly been running on momentum. which works for a while, until it doesn't.

i still like working hard and learning things. that hasn't changed. but i could see that work and projects had slowly become my default way of coping with everything else going on.

so lately i've been trying to approach life a little differently. not by becoming a completely different person, just by being more intentional with things.

planning my week instead of reacting to it. cooking at home more. making time for stuff i enjoy instead of waiting until everything else is done. sketching again. taking photos. messing around with a 3d printer. building a little home lab.

this site is part of that too. i mostly just wanted a place to put things that don't need to be polished or optimized. thoughts, photos, little experiments. also i spent way too long getting the cards on this page to land exactly how i wanted them.

so yeah. this is just a small corner of the internet for whatever i happen to be making or thinking about lately.

when i was 17 i came up with the name labkit studio. it sounded like a place where you mess around with ideas and figure things out as you go, which is pretty much what i was doing back then.

i'm 22 now and the way i think about my work has changed a lot since then. the old name just didn't really fit anymore.

so i started good internet club.

it's a small studio where i build internet products with a trusted network of developers i like working with. we work with creators, communities, and businesses who have interesting ideas and want to turn them into real things. sometimes that's a website, sometimes a tool, sometimes something a little weirder.

i've always cared a lot about the craft of building things. how something feels to use. the small details that people might not notice directly but still feel when everything is done right.

a lot of the web right now feels a bit copy pasted. same templates, same patterns, same products with slightly different colors. so the goal with good internet club is pretty simple. make things that feel thoughtful, well built, and nice to use.

also the little star next to the name is bleb. he doesn't really do much but we like having him around.

welcome to the club.
