Dedicated servers with DDoS protection

Keep your infrastructure fully protected and your users’ experience smooth with built-in DDoS Shield, DataPacket’s proprietary anti-DDoS solution included with every server.

Unmetered mitigation

DDoS Shield protects all your servers from volumetric and L4 protocol-based attacks, with no limits, no extra fees, and no impact on legitimate traffic.

Mitigation begins automatically within under 10 seconds, neutralizing attacks of any size while keeping your services online and responsive.

Adjustable protection for each server

By default, full DDoS protection is enabled in most data centers. You can adjust the Shield for each server, from volumetric-only mitigation to full protection, or turn it off entirely if needed.

Volumetric attacks

Volumetric Shield

  • Deployed on DataPacket’s edge routers.
  • Detects and filters out DDoS attacks through firewall rules.
  • Effective against NTP, DNS, UDP, Memcached, and other amplification vectors.

Full Shield

  • Runs on dedicated anti-DDoS hardware in most data centers.
  • Intercepts amplification attacks plus TCP SYN, TCP ACK, and GRE floods, filtering malicious packets with custom mitigation techniques.
  • Includes an option to avoid a TCP connection reset during mitigation.

Real-time monitoring

Track attacks as they happen through your client panel. Once mitigation activates, you’re notified instantly so you can view packet rates, bandwidth impact, and mitigation efficiency in real time.

Custom mitigation rules

Define your own PPS/BPS thresholds for specific attack types and apply them to selected servers or regions.

This gives you full control over how Shield reacts, letting you tailor mitigation to your application’s normal traffic patterns while ensuring legitimate users stay unaffected.
