How are costs estimated?

Costs estimate the API value of recorded tokens using model rates and cached-token pricing. They are not your subscription bill. Unlisted Codex models use a disclosed fallback rate. Codex estimates exclude fast-mode, long-context, cache-write, and tool charges.
