Is the function I used for the callback, RegisterWaitForSingleObject https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/api/winbase/nf-winbase-registerwaitforsingleobject using the thread pooling system you're talking about underneath? The documentation seems to suggest so, but I'll wait for your opinion on it.
