According to Sanders, it's the latter, and the spinoff will continue to work in conjunction with the mothership series. A writers' room reportedly opened in January for Gen V season 2, with Fazekas as sole showrunner. "We think that if fans respond the way we've responded to Gen V we will have many more seasons of the show," says Sanders. "In the master plan between Eric and Michele and Tara, I think these shows will continue to talk to each other in fun ways."

我无语咯，本来以为玛丽已经够zzzq了，但跟她妹妹一比简直美若天仙
还是一次性放送完好。前三集爽得很，然后一直划水，50分钟的信息量少得就像稀粥，最后好不容易反转了，但是我们剧组没经费了。太平淡的结尾了，非常严重的平开低走，剧情完全可以浓缩成两三集。
编剧是没脑子了吗，搞一堆乱七八糟剧情，ep6 4→5.5 ep7傻逼吗 ep8刹车盘都要冒烟了

男主事故之后感觉剧本仓促大改呀，降智剧情。这一季变成披着黑袍皮的超英剧情了。——2025.10.23
说实话剧情感觉挺烂，有一集玩梗的还行。估计是因为男主挂了的原因疯狂改剧本，虽然逻辑上还说得过去，但搞得实属太烂。反派莫名奇妙，塑造一大串最后一集当了小丑，智者也不知道搞什么飞机把万磁王放了，没放说不准还给戈多金这货升级了，效果还更好。主角团智商几乎等于零，那么多线索是个白痴都能看出密使和戈多金是一个人，不是上帝视角都分析的出来。赶紧出第五季吧，这玩意也没必要再出了。
