]]>Thank you for organising and sharing this poster session! I appreciated that one of the featured works focuses specifically on online learning modules for first-year social sciences students, capturing both student and faculty perspectives. The inclusion of both stakeholder viewpoints is critical—especially as research shows that factors such as teaching presence, social-online comfort, and instructional support strongly influence online learning success

Oh my goodness, sorry for not responding in a timely manner! Eek! I’m glad this was helpful. Now that we’re 1.5 years later, it looks like we may need to move away from LibWizard for step-by-step tool instructions. Authentication is making things difficult. We’ll see what the next phase may be!

Hi Amy! Thanks for your response and question. I think that the majority of these principles can still be put into practice without the LMS. I think setting the tone of the space with a community agreement, explanation of creating an inclusive environment, and weaving together a variety of engagement practices during a lecture can be helpful. Feel free to reach out to me if you have more specific questions!

Thanks for answering my question, that makes sense!

Thanks for that question, Jasmine! It’s pretty easy to share content and collaborate on tutorials in LibWizard. Within the settings menu for the tutorial, there is a permissions section. This enables one to set the owner, individuals with view permission, and individuals with edit permission. In addition, once a tutorial is published, it becomes part of the intitution’s library of tutorials and learning objects. When one selects the option to create a new LO, one has the option to start from a “blank slate” or select one of the existing tutorials to use as a template. I wish I could share screen shots here. If you want a more detailed explanation, or a tour, I’d be glad to arrange that via zoom.
